I don't have much to say today. Why? IT'S FREAKING COLD! When I left the house today it was -20C, -33C with the windchill. It is now -19 with a windchill of -30. It's only going to get colder tonight. I think I am still frozen from this afternoon. I have been under the blankets since 3:14pm. I don't want to get up. I have to go to the bathroom but honestly, it's too cold for me to get up.

I so need to figure out what I'm going to eat for supper tonight. Josh had pizza at Noah's house which leaves me possibly not eating tonight. I want something though. I am craving meat right now. I don't have anything that I want to eat though which sucks. I want to get a meatball sub but I don't want to go out and pick it up. Why? IT'S TOO COLD! Oh well, I need to go and find something to eat.

Another random [post. i have decided that i'm not going to make any changes to the words and stuff with this as i still have a massive migraine and I couldn't be bothered really.

I headed off to [physio today and that wasn't too bad. i think I did a bit too much but oh well. i have [pills and i'll be able to take them to make the [pain go away. i went back to bayshore and caught the bus downtown. i got off early because i wanted to go bring the la[pto[p in to get it fixed. Turns out the [place I was thinking of bringing it in isn't covered under the warranty so they [printed off the list of [places that are. i went to bring in the [pa[pers to welfare and decided to walk to the closest [place on the list. i got there and they didn't know what i was talking about. it was so annoying. i had already been out walking for over an hour and a half and i was in [pain. i didn't cry in the building which sur[prised me as i was near tears at that [point. there is one other [place that i am going to check out on thursday and if that doesn't work out i'm just calling lenovo and having them [pick u[p the la[pto[p. i am getting tired of this. very tired.

i have work tomorrow and i ho[pe this migraine is gone by then. i also ho[pe i have the dream that i had last night again. i'd like to see how it turns out.

i guess I'm going to go now because i haven't really eaten since breakfast and i'm starving. i'm lucky i didn't have to [put any numbers in this entry. doing [passwords is annoying because i get -0 98 98 76 76 54 54 3 2 1 so yeah. i need to start really [pricing new la[pto[ps soon.

It was a good weekend. Yesterday we went to see a movie and today was the day we had tickets for the hockey game. Ottawa won in a shoot out. Josh wants to go next weekend because Kingston will be here. I'm going to try to get tickets for that.

It was also good because I found out yesterday that I probably won't have to pay to get my laptop fixed. If they have to do anything to the inside it will be covered under the warranty. The only things that aren't covered are the power cord and the battery. Hearing that made me so happy. I cannot stand typing on this thing. One day I'm going to write something and not make any adjustments. It's so full of fail.

Now I have to go because I have food cooking and I need to get a glass of milk to try to get rid of this heart burn.

Oh roast, how I love you. I cannot believe I had to cut it in half and freeze the other half. I'm going to have to pick up more potatoes and slow cooker stuff to make it again next weekend. God it was good.

I am now tired and full and craving chocolate. I did the dishes and took out the garbage - garbage was a chore. The compost container and black box were frozen to the porch. I hope the eggs that I put in for compost didn't crack and ooze all over the place. That would suck hugely.

I now I have to go and clear off the kitchen table so Josh can do his homework. His teacher is really starting to get on my nerves. Oh well. I'll figure something out

Just got back from groceries. Managed to spend more on them today than I have in months. It felt good, even though I couldn't get a few things. I do have the gift card to Giant Tiger so I can pick up a few other things if I need them. It's also good because somehow a hole was poked in one of the bags of milk and now we are down to two bags. I am a little upset.

I'm in the process of making poutine and that is making me happy. I love poutine and I've found a decent gravy that should work well it it. I'm a little upset that our cheese curd isn't as fresh as I'd like it but it is still good.

And now I have to go because the fries are almost ready and I have to stir the gravy. I love food.

Second day of a Wizards of Waverly Place marathon. I want to shoot myself. Two more hours and it will be over. I can last. Then I can put something decent on.

I'm trying to figure out what to do with groceries this week. I'll have a bit of extra money this week but I don't know what I should make. I wanted to make throw together again but I have to make sure I can get cheese at a relatively cheap price. I'd have to get two bricks because Josh will want to eat one. I'll have to pick up more carrots, probably two bags of them at least. Josh went nuts with the last bag and it was gone in two days.

And less that two hours now. Had to take a food break.

We're going to be baking soon as well so that will get me away from this show. I wish I could go back to sleep. Oh, that reminds me that I need to take my pills soon. I guess I should go so I can get everything ready to bake. I need to make sure that the bathtub gets cleaned tonight before my bath. I'll probably end up doing it myself. That will be interesting.

Lasagna Madness!

Yesterday I made the most amazing lasagna ever. I swear, it was great, and it didn't cost a lot since most everything I needed was on sale. I'm going to go back and get more sauce, cheese and meat and make it again later. Josh loved it, and the kid usually hates anything with sauce. Seriously. I'm at the point where I am going to make him white pizza with just garlic butter on the crust. Hmm, we should make pizza one day.

Anyway, I am showing pictures because I am proud of how it turned out.


This is how much cheese I ended up using. There is roughly 8 cups of mozzarella cheese in here.











The finished product, just out of the oven. Yeah, you can see that the sauce exploded all over the oven.











And my plate. You can see the steam coming off of it. It was soooooo good. We still have enough for tomorrow's dinner. It's going to be great.











I have to remember to go to Farm Boy to get veggies. I hope they're cheaper and better than at the grocery store.

I also need to play Pokemon Diamond for a bit more, and restart Emerald. Josh said I could do it just so I can get a Mudkip. I can't wait.
