Last post.

Josh and I are watching the Grammys. He's enjoying it because Lady Gaga opened the show. She sang with Elton John which was fabulous.

that's weird. It just sounded like someone took a step outside the living room.

Anyway. I think this is all we're going to be doing tonight. I'd rather go to bed early since the kid woke me up extremely early this morning. Well, it was 7:30 which isn't to bad but I didn't fall asleep until 2. I'm getting sick as well so I need the extra sleep. I am so tempted to call in sick tomorrow but I can't. I need the money. Especially since my client canceled on Friday. Oh well.

I'm going to curl up on the couch now. Maybe he'll lose interest in the show and want to watch something else.

I almost forgot to write in this today.

Nothing much happened. We went to the Walmart in Orleans and I have to say, I'm disappointed. Yes it's a superstore but there wasn't much there by way of selection. We went to get groceries after and really, for the amount I spent I didn't get much. I forgot french fries, gravy and spaghetti sauce. We're getting cheese curd tomorrow so we can have poutine at some point.

I'm going to have a bath now. I'm feeling like crap and hope that'll help me.

Also, Zombieland is out on DVD soon. I need to get it.

I don't have much to say today. Why? IT'S FREAKING COLD! When I left the house today it was -20C, -33C with the windchill. It is now -19 with a windchill of -30. It's only going to get colder tonight. I think I am still frozen from this afternoon. I have been under the blankets since 3:14pm. I don't want to get up. I have to go to the bathroom but honestly, it's too cold for me to get up.

I so need to figure out what I'm going to eat for supper tonight. Josh had pizza at Noah's house which leaves me possibly not eating tonight. I want something though. I am craving meat right now. I don't have anything that I want to eat though which sucks. I want to get a meatball sub but I don't want to go out and pick it up. Why? IT'S TOO COLD! Oh well, I need to go and find something to eat.

Oh today was good. I managed to get two winter coats, a t-shirt, a sweater and a pair of shoes for under $70. God I am happy. The coats seem to be able to handle the crap weather we're having right now. It's -11C but it feels like -22C. I hope they can and it's not just a fluke.

My shoes are cute. They were regular $39.99 and I got them for $14. The sweater was $29.99 and I got it for $6.50. The shirt was $19.95 and I got it for $10. The best price was the coats. They were regular $59.99 and I got them for $14.95. I saved so much.

Today we went to the St. Laurent Centre and got food, samples of moisturizer, a Sims game for the Wii and Chaotic cards for Josh. I paid off my cell and have my new bus pass for February. We also got Baskin Robins. I have found my new favourite ice cream and sadly, it'll be gone at the end of the month.

Now I want to sleep.

Well, I just typed up my resume and cover letter for the assistant job with the city. I am nervous mainly because I know that I won't get the job. I won't even get a call for the interview. Still, I finished it. I'm faxing it off tomorrow before physio.

Oh god. I'm nervous.

I am getting extra money soon. I'm so freaking happy about that. It's just in time for the kid's birthday so I'll be able to actually do things with him. I'm probably taking him to a hockey game on Valentine's Day. I might buy him a pair of skates so that he can go skating on the canal when they open it again. With all the rain yesterday they had to shut it down.

I've noticed that these posts have been very short. I guess it's because I'm not sure who is reading these.

I do have this urge to watch The Monkees. I haven't watched the show in years.

I got a raise. I am surprised. I'm trying to figure out what my next pay is going to be.

We also had tons of rain today. It was insane. Streets were flooded, there's at least an inch of water on the canal, meaning the canal is closed right now. I was soaked going to work and it was cold enough to freeze my pants to my legs. I'm finally dry. I am also tired.

It's time to start supper. I'm starving and I know Josh will be begging for food soon.

Seven loads of laundry. Seven. At least we have clean clothes now.

I am also getting over this pre-teen stink that's happening with the kid. Seriously. I want to cry right now. I'm not putting the sheets on his bed until he bathes.

I was so tired after doing the laundry I just warmed up pizza pockets. I should do dishes but I don't want to.

Did groceries today. It felt good not to have to put away groceries because I couldn't afford what I picked up.

I also have a few leads on new jobs. I am so happy! I'm going to do up a resume and fax it off on Tuesday. We'll see what happens with it.

I am now going to have a bath. I'm bringing the laptop in with me so I can listen to music.

I HAVE A WORKING LAPTOP!!!

I went to two places yesterday and managed to find a place that could take a look at the laptop. It turns out it was the A/C adapter that was shorting out which, in turn, was shorting out my laptop. The adapter died and that's why it wasn't connecting to the laptop. I came home after physio and plugged the laptop in and was very happy.

I also have a few leads on new jobs with the city. My worker is amazing and said that he will keep looking for other jobs. I am so happy.

I am now going to lay on the couch and do nothing until I have to do dishes.

OK. One last try to get my laptop worked on in town. If this doesn't work then I am sending it away through Lenovo. I am getting tired of this.

Also, I have [physio today and I don't want to go. I want to sleep. I couldn't sleep last night and I am exhausted right now. My stomach is a mess as well and I have no idea why. Well, I know why but until I start getting paid a regular amount my stomach will be like this. I hate not having money.

This is sad. we just went basically to another city just so I could get candy. i have been craving sour cherries for the last week or so and since i got baby bonus today i decided that we were going to get some. Well, it was kind of last minute. We were leaving St. Laurent Centre and we went into Shoppers to see what candy they had and they didn't have anything I wanted so I decided right then and there that we were going to the Gloucester Centre to go to Bulk Barn. Yeah, I am sad. I have my candy though so I'm happy.

Another random [post. i have decided that i'm not going to make any changes to the words and stuff with this as i still have a massive migraine and I couldn't be bothered really.

I headed off to [physio today and that wasn't too bad. i think I did a bit too much but oh well. i have [pills and i'll be able to take them to make the [pain go away. i went back to bayshore and caught the bus downtown. i got off early because i wanted to go bring the la[pto[p in to get it fixed. Turns out the [place I was thinking of bringing it in isn't covered under the warranty so they [printed off the list of [places that are. i went to bring in the [pa[pers to welfare and decided to walk to the closest [place on the list. i got there and they didn't know what i was talking about. it was so annoying. i had already been out walking for over an hour and a half and i was in [pain. i didn't cry in the building which sur[prised me as i was near tears at that [point. there is one other [place that i am going to check out on thursday and if that doesn't work out i'm just calling lenovo and having them [pick u[p the la[pto[p. i am getting tired of this. very tired.

i have work tomorrow and i ho[pe this migraine is gone by then. i also ho[pe i have the dream that i had last night again. i'd like to see how it turns out.

i guess I'm going to go now because i haven't really eaten since breakfast and i'm starving. i'm lucky i didn't have to [put any numbers in this entry. doing [passwords is annoying because i get -0 98 98 76 76 54 54 3 2 1 so yeah. i need to start really [pricing new la[pto[ps soon.

So...

Started back to work today. It was fun because I love my clients but it was hard as well. I left the house today and ended up wiping out on the ice right outside our place. It sucked but I managed to turn in time so I didn't land on my right knee. Didn't matter though because I landed on my left but ended up bending my right knee too much. I am very sore now. I have also been battling a headache that's lasted three days. It does not want to leave. I'm almost out of Tylenol but I get money on Wednesday so I will be able to pick up more then.

I should go and start food but I don't want to. We're having chicken and rice and at just this minute I don't want to work with raw chicken. I think I"m just going to take some time to read through some things that I haven't been able to over the past few days.

It was a good weekend. Yesterday we went to see a movie and today was the day we had tickets for the hockey game. Ottawa won in a shoot out. Josh wants to go next weekend because Kingston will be here. I'm going to try to get tickets for that.

It was also good because I found out yesterday that I probably won't have to pay to get my laptop fixed. If they have to do anything to the inside it will be covered under the warranty. The only things that aren't covered are the power cord and the battery. Hearing that made me so happy. I cannot stand typing on this thing. One day I'm going to write something and not make any adjustments. It's so full of fail.

Now I have to go because I have food cooking and I need to get a glass of milk to try to get rid of this heart burn.

So my laptop died today. I don't know if it's the power cord or something inside the laptop itself. It'll be covered under the warranty so I'm happy. Until then I have to use the Acer and I am hating this thing. The keys are messed up and it has to stay in one place or the battery will die.

To forget about that for a bit we are going to see a movie. We got a gift card for Christmas so we're going to use that.

Also, gotta love going to the laundromat and being waved over and having a guy tell you that there is a person smoking crack behind one of the washers. Sometimes I hate this city.

I am starting to think that this laptop is against me. Today the cord moved and it disconnected so I went to try to connect it again and it shut right off. I couldn't get the power cord connected for a while after that. When I finally had it connected and turned on the internet wouldn't connect. Two months. Two months and I will have my new laptop. I hope I can anyway. My tax return just needs to be enough to be able to pay for it. If I can't get the Sony I'll have to look at something less expensive. I want that Vaio though. It's so pretty.

I am very tired after running around all day but I am home now and that is good. I am also watching NCIS because it is awesome.

I was a little insane today after physio. I missed the bus so I had to wait in the cold. So, I danced...and sang. A lot.

I listened to this twice. Sang to it too. Danced a lot.

Then I listened to this and danced and sang.

I head back to work on Monday. DO NOT WANT! Well, that's a lie. I do want to go back because I need the money and I miss my babies. I don't want to go back because I enjoy being lazy. Today was great - a perfect example of laziness. I dropped Josh off at school, came home and fell asleep at 10am. I woke up at 1pm. I ate and then flipped through all the channels that we have the fireplace channel, international music video channel, free preview of the Chinese channels because of Chinese New Year and a bunch of others that I didn't know we had. I am very happy about this.

I am now watching NCIS while waiting for Josh to get home. I am making cheeseburgers for supper and need to do dishes before I make them.

I need to buy some pop so we can sneak it into the hockey game on Sunday. I have the popcorn so I can pop that before we leave.

I want Starbucks.

Winter can end now. I am tired of the snow and ice and cold. One of these days I am going to move to a place with no snow at all. I need to win the lottery or something.

I am getting tired of not having money. I have to go back to work early, even though I can barely move right now to do the things I need for work. I won't even be getting a pay cheque until February 18th but if I don't go back now I won't be able to take Josh bowling for his birthday. He wants to bring a bunch of kids and at this point I have no idea how much that's going to be.

I should go and do dishes but I don't want to get up. I'd rather have a bath but I know that if I don't do the dishes I won't do them. I should also be looking for the DVD remote. We have movies to watch and Josh wants to play the Wii for the first time in forever and we can't because we can't find the remote. It has to be under the couch somewhere.

Can it be March now?
