Last post.

Josh and I are watching the Grammys. He's enjoying it because Lady Gaga opened the show. She sang with Elton John which was fabulous.

that's weird. It just sounded like someone took a step outside the living room.

Anyway. I think this is all we're going to be doing tonight. I'd rather go to bed early since the kid woke me up extremely early this morning. Well, it was 7:30 which isn't to bad but I didn't fall asleep until 2. I'm getting sick as well so I need the extra sleep. I am so tempted to call in sick tomorrow but I can't. I need the money. Especially since my client canceled on Friday. Oh well.

I'm going to curl up on the couch now. Maybe he'll lose interest in the show and want to watch something else.

Oh roast, how I love you. I cannot believe I had to cut it in half and freeze the other half. I'm going to have to pick up more potatoes and slow cooker stuff to make it again next weekend. God it was good.

I am now tired and full and craving chocolate. I did the dishes and took out the garbage - garbage was a chore. The compost container and black box were frozen to the porch. I hope the eggs that I put in for compost didn't crack and ooze all over the place. That would suck hugely.

I now I have to go and clear off the kitchen table so Josh can do his homework. His teacher is really starting to get on my nerves. Oh well. I'll figure something out

Today was a busy day. I dropped Josh off at school and headed to the Rideau Centre to wander around for a bit. I bought myself a bra (finally) and then headed to Chapters to look at books for Josh for his birthday. I picked up a how to draw dinosaurs book and a dinosaur reference book for his birthday. I'm going to go back when I have some extra money and pick up a few Pokemon books and some art supplies for him. That'll be enough for his birthday I think. If I can really afford it I'd like to get him the new Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Wii game. It looks good. If not, I'm going to pick up a Wii card so we can download a few games.

I also went to my first physio appointment and it was good. I like the staff there. Sadly, I am going to have to cancel my appointment on Tuesday because there will be no way at all I can get from my doctors appointment to the hospital in time. It won't be that bad because it'll just be my second appointment. I have my exercises to do and I think I'll be fine until next Thursday. I'm going to have to talk to Myriam so I can rearrange my schedule. I'm thinking of volunteering during the time that I'm not going to be working. I might do two clients on Monday, one on Wednesday and then one on Friday. I wish I had Fridays off but if I just work in the morning it won't be too bad.

Tomorrow is going to be a relatively lazy day. I have to go and pay my cell bill in the morning and that's really it. I need to see how much it's going to cost to send out the stuff to Tan and then possibly send it. I need to pick up a few things though. Hmm, maybe I should check my bank account balance.

Did laundry, got the groceries we need for today and part of tomorrow and now we are home. I am not doing anything else for the next three and a half hours. NOTHING!

Josh stayed home today from school. His asthma was acting up last night and he had trouble breathing this morning. It was nice having him at the laundromat with me. Today, since he missed class he knows that he has to do work that I assign. He'll be practicing his printing and sentences and he'll have some reading to do. At least he has a book that he's interested in to read.

Now, I am going to sleep.

I think my laptop is against me doing this challenge. Every time I put it down it disconnects and the battery drains in under an hour. I made sure this morning before we left that it was connected and somehow it came loose. The battery needs to be replaced and I am just buying a new laptop. I only need to wait about two months and then I can get a new one. I might have to go with one of the minis but I don't think that will be an issue. This laptop will be put in Josh's room on the desk and will probably buy a printer for it. That way, I can print up the things that he needs for his OT and not have to worry about paying 15 cents a sheet to photocopy them. I'll be able to download pictures for him to colour as well which will make him happy.

I did have a good morning today (aside from coming home to see the laptop off again). I got my bus pass and a weekly planner for work. I also got Josh his own calendar and an Arceus plush. I've never seen one so I knew I had to pick it up. There won't be any more, especially with that one. He will be surprised.

I have just enough for pizza and the stuff to make throw together tomorrow if he wants. I'll just have to remember to do laundry tomorrow. Josh is almost out of clothes. I can get everything finished tomorrow morning and rest most of the afternoon. Thursday will be a busy day because I have to head down to the hospital for physio. It'll take an hour and fifteen minutes to get there, forty minutes for the appointment and then another hour and fifteen minutes to get home. I hope I'm home in time for Josh to get home.

I think though that I'm going to lay down now. I'm tired and sore.

I am feeling very toolish today. Well, left over from yesterday. Today I'm just really tired.

Yesterday I just broke down. I am so tired of being in pain and I know that it's only been two weeks since the surgery but I've had nothing but pain for over a year now. Sometimes, it just gets to be too much. Today is another day where I just want to cry. This time I don't have to worry about Josh getting upset. Sometimes I just feel like fail!parent because I can't do the things that he wants to do. He wants to go skating and I swear, I am going to get on the ice on his birthday. I don't care what I feel like, I am going to do it.

I just hate this feeling like I am going to break.

Second day of a Wizards of Waverly Place marathon. I want to shoot myself. Two more hours and it will be over. I can last. Then I can put something decent on.

I'm trying to figure out what to do with groceries this week. I'll have a bit of extra money this week but I don't know what I should make. I wanted to make throw together again but I have to make sure I can get cheese at a relatively cheap price. I'd have to get two bricks because Josh will want to eat one. I'll have to pick up more carrots, probably two bags of them at least. Josh went nuts with the last bag and it was gone in two days.

And less that two hours now. Had to take a food break.

We're going to be baking soon as well so that will get me away from this show. I wish I could go back to sleep. Oh, that reminds me that I need to take my pills soon. I guess I should go so I can get everything ready to bake. I need to make sure that the bathtub gets cleaned tonight before my bath. I'll probably end up doing it myself. That will be interesting.

Last night was pretty cool. Josh and I spent at least an hour watching Lady Gaga videos. I have to make sure I can pick up the CD for him for his birthday. There are a bunch of things that I want to pick up for him this year. He'll be 10. It's still surprising to me that I will have a 10 year old.

I haven't done anything today. I went to bed at 2:30 this morning because I was watching the Johnny Depp version of Sleepy Hollow and woke up at 11. I got Josh lunch and had a bath and read some. At 2:30 I fell back asleep and woke up at 4:30. Right now I am fighting to stay awake. I think I'm coming down with something. It wouldn't be surprising with me being in and out of the hospital because of my knee. Plus, the people here are a little disgusting and don't think there's a problem with coughing all over the bus handles and things. Sometimes I hate public transportation. Tomorrow will be much of the same I think. I don't have any money to really go anywhere and I don't have any bus tickets.

Oh, that reminds me. I have to look for my bus pass. Maybe I'll do that now to get away from Wizards of Waverly Place. Sometimes I hate Family.
